With experience in both front and backend development, I find myself most passionate in solving a good scavenger hunt. From API integrations, Java methods and classes, CSS implementations, or just plain broken logic, there is no wall I have found that I dont have the patience to learn how to break, or build. Aside from the hunt of the code, there is something uniquely special to me in making a website both appealing, and user friendly. At the end of the day, no matter how amazing the functionality is in the backend of an application, if there isn't a strong bridge met between the functionality and the UI, the effectiveness of what is offered to the user suffers most, in my opinion. When I'm not working, I spend as much time away from the screen as possible, traveling, rollerblading, swimming, even fishing with the entire crew whenever possible (my husband, myself, my dog, my 7yo stepson, and soon to be newborn baby boy, too!).
